Yesterday while doing my cleaning, moved the chest of drawers and found a canvas I had forgotten I had. I had put it there to hide it from the puppy, who is hell bent on destroying everything in its sight. Both inside and outside. Its an old one I got from the charity shop down the road for a couple of dollars, just gessoed over it a couple of times to hide what was originally on it and now can use it. Its great because its about 4 ft x 3ft which has a bit of size to it. Have done drawings large before but never a painting. So is a great one to practice on. Also got a triangular canvas from Spotlight for Xmas, 4 parts, its not very big but will be interesting to sort out what I will put on it. These are just a couple of pen and ink I did awhile ago from an art book. I actually started on a pastel the other night, and will have to get that one finished now.
Isn't it funny how some peoples smiles can light a place up. I just went to the shops a little while ago, and as walking out a guy came in, we nearly collided, but the smile on his face was just incredible. Some people seem to have this inner glow that just comes through and can change an atmosphere in just a sec. Have a great day!
