Today my sunflowers opened up. Pretty exciting for me, cause as I said I don't have much luck with flowers. When they open properly I hope to do a couple of paintings or drawings from them. We also got some rain, which is fantastic, we've hardly had any for so long. I only hope it spreads over to Victoria and helps to put the bushfires out that are still burning. Its supposed to rain for the next couple of days, so at least the gardens and lawns should get some benefit from it. Won't do anything fantastic for the dams or rivers though. The poor Murray river is in a bad state.

Well was going to do some cleaning today but don't think I'll be bothering with that too much, not with the dogs deciding they want to go in and out, and treading the mud through.
