Hi there, I couldn't believe this photo when I saw it on the net. This lady had the longest nails in the world, she was actually in an accident, last week think it was, (yes she's ok) and ended up losing her nails. I mean really what could you do with nails like that? How could you eat properly, do your hair, or umpteen million other things without them being in the way? And whats the use of them? Sure you wouldn't have to bend over to pick anything up, you'd just scoop it up, itchy foot, problem solved immediately. Clean the cobwebs out of the corners of the room. Scare the crappers out of a lot of kids if they played up, but really I have been wondering for the last couple of days, what practical use they could possibly have besides being able to say you have the longest nails in the world? And I mean how in the hell could you wipe your backside? Now that one really has me puzzled. Imagine if her toe nails were the same? Actually that might come in handy in the garden, save using the little spade. Well its about time I stopped looking at this photo and trying to work out the reasons, and just put it on the blog.
Today the temperature here dropped 10 degrees in an hour, I loved it, I've had enough of hot weather to last me quite awhile after the last heatwave. We even had a few spots of rain, just enough to turn a dirty car into a muddy looking car.
The good news on the bushfires was they got one of the arsonists, and more of the fires have been contained, but sadly more bodies have been discovered, think there will be more numbers as time goes on. Over a million animals and birds were killed in it, and so many others hurt. I feel so sorry for them, the ones that have been found and are receiving treatment for their burns are lucky, but what about so many others just wandering around with burns and blisters. So painful for them, they can't talk. All so unnecessary, just for someones sick pleasure of lighting a fire. Can you understand people like that? I certainly can't. Have a good day, or night, where ever you are in the world.
